Heavy-Duty, Hot-Water
Pressure Washing

Merritt Industrial brings heavy-duty, hot-water pressure washing to the Charlotte metro’s toughest surfaces — industrial facilities, commercial properties, parking decks, and job sites that need to be clean, safe, and ready for the next step.

We’re the same crews trusted for dry ice blasting, laser cleaning, and industrial coatings across the Carolinas, so when we prep a surface, we know exactly what it needs to hold a coating, pass an inspection, or simply look like new.

Whether you’re managing a manufacturing plant, a parking structure, a shopping center, or a fleet yard, our trailer-mounted, hot-water pressure washing units are built to cut through grease, oil, efflorescence, coatings overspray, and years of built-up grime — without damaging the substrate underneath.

Pressure Washing Services for
Charlotte’s Industrial & Commercial Properties

From single-building facades to multi-level parking structures, Merritt Industrial’s pressure washing services are built around one goal: a clean surface that’s ready for what comes next — whether that’s a coating, an inspection, a tenant, or just a better first impression.

Industrial & Commercial Building Washing

Warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and office parks all take a beating from Charlotte’s humidity, pollen, and road film. Our hot-water pressure washing removes grease, mildew, rust staining, and atmospheric grime from metal panels, tilt-up concrete, EIFS, and masonry facades — restoring curb appeal and protecting the building envelope without damaging paint, sealant, or signage.

Parking Deck & Parking Garage Cleaning

Parking decks trap oil drips, tire rubber, deicing salt, and organic staining that eat away at concrete and traffic coatings over time. We pressure wash parking decks and surface lots for property managers and HOAs across the Charlotte metro, targeting oil stains, efflorescence, and gum removal while protecting expansion joints, striping, and drainage systems — and we can time work around off-hours or phased schedules to keep a structure operational.

Concrete Cleaning & Restoration

Loading docks, sidewalks, warehouse floors, and exterior slabs build up oil, chemical stains, and mildew that ordinary washing won’t touch. Our industrial concrete cleaning lifts embedded grime and stains from broom-finished and sealed concrete alike, and can be paired with degreasing agents for automotive, manufacturing, and fleet maintenance environments.

Masonry & Surface Prep for New Coatings

Brick, block, and stone surfaces need the right cleaning method before a new coating, sealant, or restoration system goes on — too much pressure can etch masonry, while too little leaves contaminants that cause coating failure. Our pressure washing is calibrated for masonry substrates and works hand-in-hand with our surface preparation services — including media and shot blasting — when a job calls for a more aggressive profile than water alone can deliver.

Pressure Washing Before Painting

A coating is only as good as the surface underneath it. Before any exterior or interior repaint, we pressure wash to strip chalking paint, mildew, dirt, and surface contaminants so primer and topcoat can properly bond. This is the same standard we hold our surfaces to on every industrial painting project we run — because we handle the cleaning and the coating, there’s no hand-off between contractors and no guessing about whether the surface was actually ready.

Fleet, Machinery & Equipment Washing

Trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and production machinery accumulate road grime, grease, and oil that hurt both appearance and performance. Our hot-water pressure washing degreases fleet vehicles and industrial equipment on-site, minimizing downtime and keeping your assets audit- and inspection-ready. For delicate components, electronics, or equipment that can’t get wet, our dry ice blasting is available as a non-abrasive, water-free alternative.

Residential Pressure Washing

We take on a limited number of residential pressure washing projects across the Charlotte metro — driveways, walkways, patios, and home exteriors — particularly for property owners who want the same industrial-grade quality we bring to commercial sites. Frequently Asked Questions
About Pressure Washing Services

What’s the difference between pressure washing and dry ice blasting?

Pressure washing uses hot water (and sometimes detergents) to clean large exterior surfaces like buildings, concrete, and parking decks. Dry ice blasting is a dry, non-abrasive method better suited to sensitive equipment, electrical components, and situations where water can’t be used. Merritt Industrial offers both, so we can recommend the right method for your surface and site conditions.

Can pressure washing damage my building or parking deck?

Improper pressure or the wrong technique can etch concrete, strip paint, or force water behind siding and sealants. Our crews adjust pressure, temperature, and nozzle selection to the specific substrate — concrete, masonry, metal panel, EIFS — so surfaces are cleaned safely without damage.

Do you pressure wash occupied buildings or active parking decks?

Yes. We regularly work around tenants, traffic, and operating hours, and can schedule off-hours, weekend, or phased work to minimize disruption to your business or property.

Is pressure washing enough surface prep for a new coating?

It depends on the coating system and substrate. Many coatings only require a clean, contaminant-free surface, which pressure washing provides. Others call for a mechanical profile, which is where our shot blasting and media blasting surface prep services come in. We’ll evaluate the coating spec and recommend the right prep method.

What areas do you service?

We’re based in the Charlotte, NC metro and serve Charlotte, Concord, Gastonia, Huntersville, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Indian Trail, Monroe, Belmont, Mooresville, Rock Hill (SC), Fort Mill (SC), and York County (SC), plus additional sites throughout North and South Carolina for larger industrial and commercial projects.
